I've used this for anything with leather, from riding pants with leather seats, to saddle girths. Most recently I used it on an elastic girth with leather tabs on the buckles. It does not dry out leather, and it rinses out easily. It cleans really well - I usually hand wash due to not wanting buckles knocking around in my washing machine, and wanting to control how vigorously I want an item to be agitated. This product has been around for a long time, although the bottle used to be more bright orange and more of a rectangular shape. Word needs to get out about this product because when I look at horse forum sites, I see many unreasonable recommendations that make no sense when this product exists to do exactly what people are asking about how to do.Needed it, Amazon easier than making a special trip to tack store.I've used this product for many years on leather riding breeches.
