It doesn’t help the razor burn.# My ReviewThis review is for Schick Hydro Skin Comfort Men's Face Wash. As someone who’s got extremely sensitive skin that’s prone to minor breakouts, I’m always on the lookout for a face wash that cleans, and leaves the skin feeling great.The product is packaged as a 2 pack with the face wash delivered in the usual Schick branding that details the ingredients, benefits, directions of use, etc. on the front, side, and back of its labeling. The formulation uses ingredients that are known traditionally to help with gentle cleansing, hydrating, and moisturizing: Coconut Oil, and Vitamin E.For the facial wash, you should use about a quarter sized amount applied to the face, rubbed in circular motion to cleanse the skin, and then wash off after a few minutes. The consistency is slightly thick and once applied it spreads evenly. The wash cleanses quickly and doesn’t feel harsh or abrasive; there’s no exfoliating beads so it’s a smooth lather. So far, the face wash works as described! I was skeptical at first as I’ve tried all kinds of scrubs, cleansers, creams, moisturizers, etc.; however, my skin feels great and radiant after the wash. I felt that shaving after using this made for an easy shave, with less burning, irritation and cuts. There’s a nice fragrance that’s not overbearing, and just smells great.Overall, I like it, it’s a good face wash that works to provide a clean shave. Sometimes, the gentle exfoliating face washes barely have any exfoliation at all. This one had a little but not much. You could definitely feel the beads but they weren't at all abrasive. (which is probably better for your skin anyway!) So if you are looking for something "scrubby", you won't get that with this face wash.The face wash is very thick and lotiony. It goes on like a cream and doesn't lather up much. It is a bit difficult to rinse but it does leave your skin feeling SUPER hydrated after fully rinsing. My husband said that it softened up his skin well before shaving so he definitely appreciated that!The fragrance is not masculine whatsoever. To me, it smells like a cross between liquid foundation and lotion. The scent is very lotiony, maybe somewhat medicinal. It isn't a terrible scent by any means, just very soothing and calming.If you are looking for a moisturizing face wash, maybe even something to use before shaving, you should be quite pleased with this product. It definitely soothes dehydrated, dry skin and leaves it feeling silky smooth.When I first tried this on, the cream comes out very little at a time, and it is quite grainy paste. I thought it is like a typical defoliating cream and so it is good for scrubbing the face :)Turns out, after leaving it on and washing after a few minutes, does turn the face softer, and the shave goes through better without irritations and less or no nicks.The skin does feel good even after the shave and wash, and so this is definitely worth, much better buy than the typical shaving creams and gels.Excellent buy..
